About KUdos VEX

KUdos VEX Team
  • The Kettering University VEX-U team, KUdos, is a collegiate robotics team competing in the VEX-U Robotics Competition, where we bring Kettering’s commitment to innovation to life. Our unique hybrid model unites A-Section and B-Section members, balancing rigorous academics with immersive Co-op experiences—a hallmark of Kettering’s hands-on approach to STEM education.
  • Our team draws talent from across the United States, with members hailing from California, Maine, Michigan, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Washington. We’re fueled by diverse backgrounds, including alumni from the VEX V5 Robotics Competition (V5RC), VEX IQ Robotics Competition (VIQRC), FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), and FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), as well as those new to competitive robotics. This range of experiences creates a culture where every member can learn, contribute, and grow.
  • KUdos is organized into specialized divisions: Build & Assembly, Design & Fabrication, Programming, Drive Team, Strategy, Notebook & Documentation, and Marketing. This structure gives members hands-on opportunities in every aspect of robotics, from designing custom parts to developing competition strategies, ensuring that all skill levels find their place.
  • At KUdos, we’re more than just a team—we’re a community that builds resilience, trust, and technical excellence, preparing each member for the challenges of robotics and beyond. Interested in joining, sponsoring, or learning more? Reach out to us at vexu@mblayst.com for more information.
